In Loving Memory

Hi everypup!

A year ago today our family lost a very special person...my mom's mom. At the young age of 54, she was taken from us too early. We all love and miss her very much and not a day goes by when we don't think about her. When going through her clothes, mom had an idea. Since we all have such great memories of her and her many outfits, we wanted something to remember her by. She suggested making quilts out of her clothes. I would like to share the pics of the quilts made with her clothes.

In all the square pattern quilts, the big and small squares are made from her clothes. In the center of the quilts is an origami doll pattern that she used to make cards with. My Aunty Tricia's quilt is made only of those dolls. All of the origami dolls have a flower in the hair which is also made of her clothes. The hair for the dolls are all made out of a beautiful dark purple dress that she loved very much. We cannot take credit for making the quilts. Mom found a wonderful quilt maker on Oahu and hired her to make the quilts. Mom's grandpa also wanted a quilt and it is currently being worked on. We all miss her very much and will cherish all our memories with her.

Ti Leaf

Hi everypup! Here are some pics of me with a ti leaf. Lame, huh? When I go out to run around, I grab ti leaves off the ground and play the run away from mom and dad game. They have not been able to get a good pic of me with it because they are too slow with the flashy beast. Dad thought he would be smart and bring it to me in the house. Somehow it's just not the same.

Am I supposed to eat this?

Fun In The Sun!

Hi everypup! I had so much fun today playing with my Wubba! Well, I actually only played with it for a few minutes, but it was fun! Eventually I got bored with the fetch thing and I decided to do zoomies instead! :)

Friday Flowers

Hi everypup! Mom has some very pretty lilies that are growing in our yard. She tried to get a picture of me with the flowers, but I was not cooperating.

I really don't want to pose right now...just give me that piece of chicken jerky in your hand!


They are so pretty! I can't wait till they all bloom!

Bracelet

Hi everypup! I have a bit of a complaint! Mom keeps putting crazy things on me. First of all, she wakes me up from my afternoon nap and a great dream about catching the duck! Then she puts her little pink bracelet on me! It's from when she was a little girl. I must say it's a very pretty color!

I was just having the best dream!
