Never Give Up!

The other day I got this awesome award fromDennis the Vizsla. Thank you, Dennis!

It helps to remind us to never give up. We're not giving up on Aunty Ume and still hoping for a positive outcome. We are hoping that the vet can schedule her ultrasound today to find out exactly what is wrong with her. Please keep sending those positive thoughts and vibes our way! Thank you!

We are thinking about all the other pups and cats that received this award too!

Sunday Howling

I heard about the howling salute for Princess Dakota and wanted to participate. Here is my salute with a little help from an ambulance that went up the road.



I'm also picturing Laska returning home surrounded by gold. I know that he will find his way home soon!

Aunty Ume pupdate: The test results from the lab were not good. Her red blood cell count is down and her liver numbers went up in a matter of weeks. The vet suspects cancer, but her regular vet returns tomorrow and hopefully he can do an ultrasound to find out for sure. Please continue to send positive vibes and thoughts to her. Thank you!

Aunty Ume

Please send some healing vibes and thoughts to Hawaii! My Aunty Ume is not feeling well. She is 13 years young and tore a ligament. They do not recommend surgery because of her age. The vet is managing her injury with medication and hoping that scar tissue will form and she should be able to walk normally again. There may also be something else wrong with her. The vet ran some tests on her blood and some of her numbers were too low. They sent her blood to another lab to run more tests. If she doesn't get better, she may have to go in for a blood transfusion.
