In my 2 1/2 years, I have been a pretty good pup. The first time I stole food was when I was about 1. Mom and dad were planning to do some training with me and took out a nice HUGE piece of chicken jerky. They put it on the kitchen counter and went outside for a minute. When they came back I was laying on the living room floor patiently waiting. Mom went to grab the chicken jerky and it was missing! That was the one and only time I ever went counter surfing!
The second and final time I stole food was about a year ago. Dad was rushing around getting ready and eating at the same time. He was eating some chicken katsu. He had put it down on the futon while he went into the other room to grab something. When he came back into the room a short while later, half the plate was gone. BOL! What did he expect?
Okay, there is one more thing. Last week dad had a yummy cookie in his hand. He was sitting down munching on it and I walked by and give it a great big lick! I didn't get to eat it, but I did taste it. YUM!
I am passing this award to everyone too! I would LOVE to hear all of your stories!

When I posted mine, I neglekhted to inkhlude the half of a furry tasty tunafish with alfalfa sprouts on multi-seeded bread I borrowed from Mom's plate when she left the room fur a blink of an eye!

So - I've had that chicken jerky -- you sent us some. Can't fault you for taking it - that stuff is DELISH! And I looked at the recipe for Chicken Katsu and am going to ask Mom to make some. It sounds heavenly!

I think we all must be defective. None of us have counter surfed. Although, Khady DOES lick any bowls/plates that might be left within her snooter range!
